"Liquid gold mine for your mind, body and soul. Very special place and please treat this place like GOD has intended it. Water from millions of years ago, coming out cold, straight from the Ice Age and into your core body to rejuvenate and replenish you. 90 outta 92 minerals our body needs, says it all. Locals…. I know some of you cherish this place and some of you take it for granted and can’t set your political believes aside . Regardless, this is private property and the homeowner has allowed ALL of US access- 24hrs a day, so please respect him, his land and donate generously or what you can afford. 1000 gal. per min lost and gone forever since 1893 ….. let that sink in . For all we know the homeowner could deny access or God forbid this deep cavity of Artisan water runs dry the next time you visit. I love this place and would move heaven and hell to protect this place and for all my people to receive this true source of life. Thank all of you who do your best to respect this place and may God bless you and your fam ♥️💯"

"It is a cute place to get fresh spring water. I have been going for several years. You have to take your containers to fill. The water is delicious. Some times of the day and times are very busy. Early morning or mid evening 7 pm not busy at all. It is well lit. Parking is on side of the road."

A Glimpse into Waukesha's Water History
In 1891, a notable scheme by James E. McElroy aimed to pipe Waukesha's spring water to the 1893 Columbia Exposition in Chicago, showcasing the economic and cultural importance of these natural resources. While this specific pipeline project may not have come to full fruition as envisioned, it underscores the immense value placed on Waukesha's springs during that era. Hygeia Spring, as one of these historic springs, continues to be a living testament to this legacy.
