“It became an annual ritual for Forrest to take a room in Sheridan, Wyoming, from where it was a short drive to many of the old forts and battle sites... Wandering all alone in those remote and now peaceful places had a lasting sway on Forrest...”
I found this online, published prior to 2012. In all my searching, I never heard of Fenn spending time in Sheridan, let alone an annual trip. Link: http://www.splendidheritage.com/TitlePages/FennTitlePage.html Here’s the section that really stands out to me: “It became an…

I’m doing a scavenger hunt/geo-hunt across the US and Canada and one of the coins I’m looking for is at this statue. Google is calling me and I can’t tell if they’re lizards, or toads, or something else. If anyone recognizes it or has another idea of what I could try to google…

Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Brinton Museum for its stunning setting, impressive collection of American Indigenous art, and the immersive experience of touring the historic ranch buildings. The bistro is a highlight for its upscale dining and spectacular mountain views, though some note service inconsistencies. The museum's exceptional accessibility is also frequently commended.
"Well worth your time. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 hours here. Check the hours of the bistro, eating a relaxed lunch outside with the incredible views was a highlight, this was an upscale bistro meal, not typical museum cafeteria experience. The exhibits are well done and convey the history of the area and connection to native cultures. We did the full ranch buildings tour, the house only would have been fine, but this includes seeing the hunting lodge which was another highlight. The gardener must be incredible, the variety of plants and set up of the green house and outdoor garden were inspiring."

"The setting is beautiful. It is nice that it is free. The tours do cost. The day I visited the restaurant was closed. The art museum is small. I was expecting more. I did the house tour. It was the best part. 1 to 2 hours was plenty for me."
