"We were looking at taking our kids skiing/snowboarding in North Carolina. I looked through reviews of a few places, and I was concerned about the plan of a fun day at some of the other resorts. Then I came along Appalachian Ski Mountain. It had great reviews except for a small amount (normal for any business). We chose to give it a try. Paid for everything online including parking! The entire day our boys were having a blast and were on the slopes until their time was up! Best birthday ever was how they referred to the day. I highly recommend taking kids and family here."

We rented our equipment from Ski shack which made our first day a breeze. If your renting equipment their then plan to pick up early cause they get busy quick. Also make sure you rent a locker if you're going to be there more than one day."
