Lots of good things happening on Pine Island. Restaurants reopening as well as shops. This Saturday the Museum of the Islands is hosting an event. Stop by if you can! Also- properties are coming in the market- some with hurricane damage- some have been repaired or didn’t receive damage. "What a gem! A tiny museum full of local history and artifacts. We visited on May 17, 2025. The volunteer docent was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the island and even took the time to write down suggestions for things to do and places to eat. She even included the addresses! Definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend."

"Amazing value! Accepts cash! Reasonably priced gift shop!!I loved the high quality auto tour I could play on my phone while viewing the items. Visit this museum, then take a walk in town to do the Pinewood Trails ;-). #Old school Florida"

Melissa ..

"My wife and I visited here on Tuesday March 25, 2025. It's a very small place with mostly just a bunch of old donated artifacts from the late 1800s and early 1900s and the gentleman who was the attendant (a local area resident) didn't offer any kind of tour or information. It might be better if there was a knowledgeable docent on duty here, but it wasn't the case during our visit. The hours are very limited since it's staffed by volunteers, but it wasn't good enough inside for us to have planned it into our itinerary during this trip."
