What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Clawson-Burnley Park for its beautiful scenery, well-maintained trails, and family-friendly amenities. It's a highly recommended spot for running, walking, picnicking, and general outdoor enjoyment, with many appreciating its peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty, especially during bloom seasons.
"We're visiting the area and decided to take a day off skiing. We randomly picked this park and we were so pleasantly surprised. Wonderful trails and a terrific playground all in gorgeous scenery. The husband and kids did a lot of geocaching (including climbing some pretty steep hills) and I enjoyed some leisurely strolling with an audiobook. I really like the grays and browns of winter with all the mosses and lichen but I can't imagine how lovely it must be in spring and in summer when those millions of Rhododendrons are in bloom!
Highly recommend this place for some fun family adventuring."

"There is so much more than first meets the eye. There is a greenway running through here. Such a peaceful and wonderful place. Our son is a student at Appalachian State. He has brought us here in a previous visit.
But on another visit to see him, we had more time to explore.
Check out my numerous pics and videos.
Pack a picnic, stay a while."
