Help. Going to be staying in Silverthorne for 5 days and looking for suggestions on the best scenic drives... Up to a couple hours to 3-4 hours is fine. Need some time to kill... Will also be staying later in Glenwood springs so any drives around there would be helpful asβ¦
Is it possible to drive from Denver to Breckenridge without going on any highways?
I know it would likely take way longer but is it possible or do you need to get on a highway at some point? Tried Google maps but it was still giving me highway routes even when I clicked avoid highways so wanted to ask the experts. Thanks!

We are flying out of Denver tomorrow at 5:30 PM and need to check out of our accommodations in Breckenridge at 10 AM. Thinking we need to get to the rental drop off at 3:30 and leaving 2 hours for driving time leaves us 3.5 hours to kill. I did check this page and Googleβ¦
