USS Cassin Young is now a floating memorial ship berthed at the Boston Navy Yard. I took this last year when I visited Boston and took a tour aboard her! My first experience on a Navy ship and it was amazing! [4032 X 3024]
She is nicely preserved. I went aboard her a few years ago, shortly after she came out of drydock and she looked spiffy. Look up the other preserved museum ships. USS Massachusetts is a drive out of Boston, but very different from a destroyer.

"The Cassin Young is a great ship to visit right next to the USS Constitution. After touring the Constitution, I joined a free walk-in tour of the Cassin Young, which was amazing.
While some parts of the ship are open to the public, The ship is very interesting, and although there were several visitors, there were no lines or waiting.
The deck offers fantastic views of the water, docks, and boats. I wish we could have seen the areas above and below the main deck, but they were roped off."
