Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Lake Martin Scenic Loop for its beautiful natural surroundings and the opportunity to see wildlife like alligators and birds. However, frequent trail closures due to flooding and alligator nesting season, along with changes in parking access, can lead to frustration for those who don't check conditions beforehand.

"Such a beautiful location. Just needs work done on it. You can't get across. The bridge is broken. Hopefully one day I'll come back and this has been nurtured back to life. But the surroundings are so beautiful. Nature here, Peace and quiet"

Myzterious 93

"Good experience walk around , I'm enjoy with the lake view and serounding of tree and Alligator can be seen.Recomended place for who like the trail walk."

Kean Khee Lim Lim

"The area looks beautiful, but the road is blocked off completely, and there is a sign on the fence saying the trail is closed from June to August 31st for alligator nesting season. Wish we had known before we traveled to get there.

There is a grassy road leading off away from the closed fence, but we were hesitant to keep trying our luck."
