"A true hidden gem! It's a steep drive up and down but paved and well worth the views. There are some trails you can explore if you wish but just seeing the views are worth the stop itself."
Karlee
"What a great view! You can see freighters heading for Lake Superior. Don't miss this if you are in the area!"

"Breathtaking. Stopped at the spur of the moment but oh so worth it. The view is so spectacular, it brought a tear to my eye. Across from the overlook is a wonderful cemetery with sites as old as the late 1800s (the oldest I saw) and where the seaman from a shipwreck are laid to rest (unfortunately, can't remember the name). I went "off season" so traffic was not an issue but know access is by a narrow one lane road up a very, very steep incline so be prepared for that. I have to tell you, the thought of plunging nose first off the road briefly crossed my mind if I did indeed encounter another vehicle."
