"I have been on two wonderful hikes at the Andres Institute of Art. Met the founder and benefactor there one time. Paul Andres was nice enough to share some of his background with me and my daughters. He is a retired mechanical engineer who bought Big Bear Mountain and made it into an outdoor sculpture exhibition and space for artists to share their work, workshops, events, etc. Highly recommend it! The sculptures are really interesting and the trails are beautiful."

There is a good size parking lot with maps at the entrance. Trails and artwork are marked, and benches and picnic tables throughout the trails. There are also restrooms at the visitors center.
