What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Camano Ridge for its peaceful forest atmosphere and gentle trails, making it a great spot for families and dog walkers. While some find the trails a bit too mild for serious trail running and note the lack of restrooms, the free access and natural beauty are significant draws. It's a lovely place for a relaxed hike and a breath of fresh air.
"This is a great trail system for beginners! It has some winding portions that move up and down a bit and other parts that are open and ADA friendly. Thereβs about 250 feet of elevation change so you get a little taste of going up hill. The forest was really nice and peaceful! Note: there are no restrooms at the trail head, but there is a large parking area."

"Visited this trail late April. We were hoping to find morel mushrooms but were unsuccessful. Trail was great and had a nice loop that took ~4 hours. The middle section that I believe was the north part of the route we took was our favorite and felt like it had good mushroom potential. Weβll definitely be back."

"Great trails! Most of the trails are fairly wide but there are some places that it narrows to single person width. Although all the trails are fairly mild in difficulty, there are a couple of places that can be a little more complex to navigate due to tree roots or the general path of the trail. It is very walkable but may be a bit of an ankle roller if you are looking to do a trail run. If you hit this trail in the summer bring bug spray or wear long sleeves and pants to combat the mosquitos. The parking is limited but there is not a fee for use of these trails."
