"The GSL was about 3.1 miles each way. The park has the trail marked as difficult, but we thought this was a pretty easy trail with little elevation changes. Most of the trail is in the sun, although there were a few spots to catch some shade.
We connected to the Lighthouse trail at the end to add another 1 mile mile each way for a total 8.2 mile hike. With time at the Lighthouse Rock, we spent about 4.5 hours total on the trail.
We left at 7:30 in the a.m., and were able to get back before t h e day got too hot."
