"Several different long trails lead out of the Carson Pass. The Meiss trail leads into the Pacific Creat trail. There are two large parking lots with restrooms. There is also an excellent visitors center staffed with friendly volunteers that are happy to answer questions. The gift store has a nice array of shirts and books and other items. A beautiful area except for the smoke!"
