What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Baldwin Beach is praised for its stunningly clear waters, beautiful mountain views, and ample parking, making it a family-friendly spot. Visitors appreciate the calm conditions ideal for water sports and the peaceful atmosphere. However, the lack of natural shade and on-site amenities like food rentals are noted drawbacks.
"If you prefer a quieter beach on Tahoe that is easy to park and walk up this is definitely the one! $12 per vehicle and even though we arrived after lunchtime in late July there was still plenty of parking and space to spread out. The water was beautiful and clear and there were plenty of birds on the beach as well. Not as warm as Emerald Bay but still decent to swim in. The forested bike path will also bring you to this beach and there are bike racks as well as bathrooms. This would be a great back up if you could not get into Sand Harbor."

"My family and I visited Baldwin Beach in early July. We arrived somewhat early at around noon, and found that there were a few people already at the beach - but not to the point that it was overwhelming.
Overall it was a beautiful beach with incredible views of the snow capped mountains surrounding Lake Tahoe. I would advise that you come prepared with your own beach chairs and cooler with food and drinks; as these aren’t available to rent or purchase on the beach.
Super crystal clear and clean water, which you are sharing with geese 🤭😎! Overall this was a very family friendly beach - and one which we thoroughly enjoyed."

"Giving this beach a three only because there is no shade. But it's beautiful and the water is calm. If you do come here bring a family parasol to give you a break from the sun. Their is picnic tables so that was nice"
