What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Crimson Dawn Park for its stunning views and engaging local folklore, making it a special place for both locals and tourists. The affordability of event rentals, like the Woodland Theater, is a significant draw. However, the unpredictable hours of the museum can be a point of disappointment for some.
"Crimson Dawn has always been a very special place to me. I grew up walking the trails, reading the stories, and going to the Midsummer’s Eve festival. In high school, I wrote my capstone paper on the folklore and history of the area. So of course, when wedding planning started and we wanted to get married on the mountain, Crimson Dawn came up. For only $50, you can rent the Woodland Theater on the property which is an absolutely beautiful spot. We reserved the venue in January for our August wedding and had absolutely no issues whatsoever with getting the reservation or getting into the park the day of. Our guests were enamored by the beauty of the area as I have always been. This place shaped me and is now a part of my life story forever. Thank you."

"A neat place to find in Wyoming. The story of the 3 witches along with the Cardinal Witch and the blind minstrel we're neat to read about. A cool little park with a museum, unfortunately closed the day we were there, July 4th, a neat hiking trail with factoids along the way. Some amazing views of Casper and the surrounding area. Would be neat to go on the summer solstice when they have bonfires across the mountains, according to one sign anyways... If you get the chance to visit do so, you don't be disappointed."
