What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The CV Link is highly praised as a much-needed safe path for cycling, running, and golf carts, offering great views and a smooth ride. While appreciated for its recreational benefits, some users note the ongoing development, limited parking, and lack of facilities like restrooms.
"LOVE the CV Link truly the only SAFE PATH in the valley for cycling running or golf carts we needed this more then you know the Ramon under crossing will be done by end of the year connecting the whole link in Palm Springs giving you 15 + miles of SAFE LANES OF TRAVEL"
Jerry Alcorn
"Great paved trail for a flat run! My only complaint is the lack of park. Great views to the golf course!"
Andrea Lindhardt
"This is a decent stretch of trail in an area devoid of off-road options to run, but such a shame that a mere 2.3 miles of the proposed trail system has actually been completed. There is a crushed granite shoulder along the entire trail to avoid pounding the concrete.
We used the trail for a running workout while passing through town this winter. For anyone looking to do the same, the grade is very slightly downhill from the Vista Chino end heading south. You may not notice the difference until/unless you are really aiming to hit a specific pace.
There is no good place to park at either trailhead and no bathroom facilities. Purified drinking water is available. We saw fewer than half a dozen people in the hour+ time we spent on the trail."
