"Beautiful oasis in midst of a desert. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Has some hikes around. Parking on side of the road. Some of the trees are said to be nearly 100 years old. There is a small information area assisted by a person who stays at the location with his RV; quite an experience for him!"

"The California Fan Palm (Washintonia filifera) oasis is incredible and a must see, parking is along the roadway, as the parking lot is closed. An easy walk to the oasis with an old cabin, walking tours and trails you can wander, absolutely incredible,great for kids, easy for those with mobility issues but no dogs allowed."
