Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Rhoneymeade Arboretum and Sculpture Garden for its unique blend of art and nature, offering a peaceful escape with beautiful views and whimsical sculptures. It's a highly recommended spot for reflection and relaxation, especially during its vibrant festivals. Some note minor issues with insects and plant signage, but the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.
"The only reason I give it a 3 is because there were so many bugs flying at you all the time. It was not kept up fully just little bit of art. However the view when you walk out through the Field was Amazing."

"I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a quiet place outside to unwind, whether in the sculpture garden. gazebo, or labrynth. It also has plenty of activites in the garden for children as well."

"I had long wanted to check Rhonymeade out. Because I attended an herbalism class here, I finally had the opportunity. I am glad my path took me here: It's a lovely, reflective, and relaxing venue. It invites feelings of natural harmony and quiet history-- all with a dash of creative whimsy. It's very easy to get to from the State College area and makes a a perfect respite stop for travelers on routes 80 or 99. Parking was ample. There are lots of nooks and seating throughout the grounds so if you're just looking for a place to sit down reflect, unplug, and be in the moment, it's ideal. There are only port a potties, and the signage for plants could be improved. However, I think it's a wonderful spot to take book, magazine, journal, or sketch pad as you settle in and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. My suggestion would be to bring along hot tea or iced lemonade with a bagged lunch or snack..... and perhaps a seat cushion or blanket. Then, just cozy up and linger a spell. :-) While you're in the area, complete your morning or afternoon with an educational stroll around Millbrook Marsh, pick up a treat at Ways Apple Orchard, or even book a stay at the lodge at Bald Eagle State Park."
