"Absolutely gorgeous trail! We loved the dams and the history of it. Really cool to hike with the canal on one side and the Des Plaines River on the other. Folks share the trail and everyone was friendly. Bikers have great etiquette and say "on your left" accordingly! Bikers in Chicago aren't as polite. Lots of people fishing today too! Excited to come back and hike more of it."
