The Bartholomew Oak, named in honor of Ralph J. Bartholomew's volunteer stewardship, is one of the older trees at Ivy Creek Natural Area and Historic River View Farm. It dates back to the early 1860s, prior to when Mr. Hugh Carr began buying land in the 1870s.
