Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the incredible experience of seeing wild horses in their natural habitat, often describing it as unique and amazing. The stunning desert landscapes and the thrill of spotting different herds are major highlights. However, some find navigation challenging, and a few have been disappointed by not seeing horses on their visit, emphasizing the unpredictable nature of wildlife viewing.

"New trail experience and it didn't disappoint. The weather was perfect, the trail was relatively flat and most exciting...after a mile in we were met by BEAUTIFUL wild horses. We saw 2 colts, his family and a Stallion up in the cliffs. Then a handful on our trail. Such a unique, amazing experience."

"Very nice trails not far from Grand Junction. We tried to go as far as we could with our rental car but we ended up completing the ride with a hike! We followed the river bed for 4 miles. Our hope was to see the wild horses but all we got to see was their poop on the trails! Nonetheless the hike was very nice. On the path, we could see coal layer in the ground. That’s why they were operating a mine nearby. We also climbed a hill that was overseeing Fruita or Grand Junction… not sure which one it was. Make sure you bring water as it is extremely hot and dry."
