"The road in was closed when we went in June 2025 due to parts of it being washed out. It was a total of about 4 miles total in and 4 miles out. There were some logs on the trail and the stairs down to the falls are in disrepair, but the waterfall is beautiful. The water is freezing, but there is a nice swimming hole if you enjoy cold water. If you don't , there are plenty of rocks to sit on and cool off before hiking back."

"See my trail review on Lower Courthouse Falls via Summey Cove Trail. Nice falls - we’re flowing good after weeks of rain in late July. The bridges were slippery over the creeks so watch your step due to the wet conditions - I wiped out on the biggest bridge but thankfully wasn’t injured. Be sure to visit Cody Falls just down the slope to the left as you come back up from Courthouse Falls to Summey Cove Trail (about 40’ from the top of the trail there is a descending trail to the left)."

"Fantastic hidden swimming hole. When we went there was no one else on the trail. Getting to the trailhead can be difficult - some steep gravel roads. The hike isn’t too long or difficult, there are stairs to the base of the falls. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for a quick hike or place to swim."
