"Its nice to get out into nature while still in the city as long as you donโt require a map. The map provided at the trailhead is useless. Iโm a retired infantry soldier and BSA scout master. Land navigation isnโt foreign to me. Itโs a small map with two loops but nothing on the map makes itโs use simple. If you needed to call emergency services you better hope that you get a great dispatcher because the map wonโt help. BE PREPARED TO CROSS TREES AS LARGE AS TWO FEET IN DIAMETER LAYING ACROSS THE TRAILS."
