What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Ocoee River's thrilling whitewater rafting, with many highlighting the Middle Ocoee's non-stop Class III & IV rapids as perfect for beginners and experienced rafters alike. The stunning natural scenery and opportunities for hiking and swimming are also frequently praised. Some minor drawbacks include rough road conditions in certain areas and the potential for crowded campsites during peak times.
"Nice and easy trail for the whole family. The falls are beautiful."
Alan Zhou
"Great campground! We stayed in site A8 and it was very nice--right on the river, although you can't see it from the campsite. I had read in the reviews that the campsites were crowded, but not at all. There was plenty of space between sites. The rangers patrolled the campground regularly so we never felt unsafe. We did a little hiking, but most of the campers were equipped for river activities. The only recommendation I would make is to add a dishwashing sink."
Theresa Brooks
"Awesome place down the road there to swim! Good atmosphere and family friendly."
