Visitors often praise the Cornell Art Museum for its surprising free admission and engaging exhibits, particularly the intricate mosaic art. Some visitors discovered it by accident and were delighted by the quality and accessibility.
"Always a good time.
Staff is unobtrusive.
Intimate and boutique kind of museum, with an array of ever evolving artists, in a cozy space. Yes these are all code words for that it's not a huge museum. But I love that.
Situated right off Atlantic ave, so it's in the middle of all the acton.
At the time I went, there was a recommended donation of $5"

"It wasn't our original plan to go here, but we're very glad our plans got mixed up. This is a truly lovely gallery space. The exhibits were beautiful, and I constantly felt myself going, "I wish I could buy this piece. It's very reasonably priced, but I can't afford it." And I think that's important in a gallery showing. The pieces on sale really reflected their worth, and we got to learn about a bunch of new artists. I'm sorry we don't live closer so we can go back more regularly."
