What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking views and the sheer power of the waves crashing against the rocks. The unique history of the boiler and the potential for whale sightings add to its appeal. However, the trail to the boiler can be challenging and muddy, requiring caution.
"Unfair, as we were there on a double red flag warning day. This means winds ~34-54 mph, and in our case, rain. Very soggy, blustery vs. gale force winds.
We lucked into the outgoing king tide in November '25.
INCREDIBLE VIEWS.
Don't just sit in the car. I can't imaging getting bored with taking lunch up here."

"Breathtaking views, definitely worth the stop. Beautiful waves crashing. Bring a coat, temperature drops with the wind."

"The story of boiler bays' name w/ the actual boiler being accessible is pretty cool.
I only went to the bottom of the trail. The bf went to the actual boiler. We took the route down through the trees. There is ropes and drops. Very muddy and sketchy. Getting back up caused mud covered and scratched up legs. The bf, on the other hand, made it back clean (he's an athletic 6'4, I'm a fat 5'5.)
Just go slow & be careful. It's a beautiful place."
