What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Detroit Artists Market is praised as an underrated gem for its diverse and reasonably priced art, including paintings, ceramics, and jewelry. Visitors appreciate the opportunity to support local artists and find unique gifts. However, one reviewer reported a negative experience with a lost art piece and unfulfilled sales, leading to a strong recommendation against consigning art there.
"I spoke with a guy who worked in there store a little over 4 years ago and he offered to take my art piece that he had me sign and it would be put in his store viewed and would allow me to have it to be sold at D.A.M. and I would get the money for the sale, and I never received anything from it being there and when I reached out more than once I was informed that they didn't have my art or even have any knowledge of it being there, so where did it go to? I've considered it as STOLEN one of one original art piece I had created within the recent years. I do not recommend going here for putting your art out there or getting anything from them because of this situation that has never been resolved. If I was able to leave 0 stars I would happily do so. NEVER AGAIN!"

"My grandson and I were impressed with the amount of selections that were priced so that even a 12 year old young man's allowance was sufficient for gift giving. We were rushed through the gallery because we arrived only 15 minutes prior to closing, but we will return again for several gifts that my grandson is still talking about for birthday gifts."
