"Four wheels recommended but not required. Breath taking views of Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego CA. You will see 360 degrees views east west north and south-about 1 miles south and west , you will see the Mexico. The beautiful Pacific Ocean and the breeze makes you feel you are born to be in nature. Enjoy this scenic drive and beauty of southern. California. You will reach 3568 ft which is almost the double the altitude of Cowles mountain or black mountain. Also be prepared to have chit chat with borders patrol, they are all over the place and you have to stop by in post when you are heading back home."

"Fantastic easy trail. Recommend 4x4 to get up to the last tiny trail that goes up to the towers as thereโs 2ft deep holes for that small last bit."
Daniel Gallegos
"We camped here for one night and really enjoyed the views, the weather, everything was great. We could see the border patrol station light a couple hills over and cell towers next to it gave us perfect cell service. People were of shooting but they stopped as it got dark. After that the night was pretty quiet aside from crickets."
