"Living history at its best! We visited on a beautiful summer day and spent almost the whole day there. So many things to see. We love the Crossroads Village, the farm demos, animals, and the Scandinavian homesteads. My 5 year old loved learning how to make bread and how to wash clothes the “old fashioned” way. The trams taking you to each section is a huge plus! We also enjoyed lunch at the Caldwell Food Hall and ice cream at the creamery. A great way to learn about Wisconsin history!"

"Fun historical mini city. I appreciated the brewery and tap room at the entrance. There are trams that take you to the different areas and lots of little hiking trails to be able to wander around. There are historical guides and interpreters that explain about the different farms and buildings. You could easily spend the whole day here. I brought a water bottle but they have a few buildings that sell food and beverages."
Joel Taylor
"Had a great time with my child for the day! Beautiful grounds, engaging experiences with the staff, and easy on and off tram to get around. Plenty of bathrooms around the entire property. Plan to stay a while, pack snacks and/or lunch, and see it all."
