"A great park with nicer playground equipment than much of what I got to play with as a kid. A good place to allow my daughter to run off a bit of energy without being devoured by mosquitoes, like at home, and to interact with other children. Has a fairly nice walking path, as well as some exercise equipment, several fields and equipment to play sports and nice, shadowy gazebos to lounge in. A great place to have a cook out, host a birthday party, or just bring some takeout to eat outdoors. Instead of mulch, they use recycled bits of tire underneath the playground equipment as opposed to the dirt and concrete from my own childhood."

"Excellent paved trail for running or walking next to the river! Bathrooms were available and things were maintained. There was a small homeless presence in the morning. The trail had a few puddles after a big rain but not bad. There are playgrounds for the kids that were in great shape! It's a great park!"
