Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Harrison Park for its peaceful atmosphere, clean facilities, and beautiful natural features like the creek and wildflower garden. It's a great spot for walks, runs, and dog-friendly outings. Some wish for more shade, but the overall experience is highly positive, with many appreciating the community efforts to maintain the park.

"Great option for early morning run or walk. Was the start and finish of a 10 mile run through town. Very low key and super nice visitors. Bathrooms are nice and get unlocked by 8:30 am. Dog friendly. The pollinators garden, though dormant, was a hotbed for bird activity. Thanks to the city and friends group for the facility."

"Honestly, I would probably give it 5 stars if there was more shade, but they do have a bottle filler and water for the poches. I try to stay our of the sun as best I can, but don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful park. A nice wide open space with 2 picnic tables. One of which is very shaded and secluded like. It would be a nice place for a picnic date. There's flat walks of varied lengths and the wild flower garden is amazing even though there weren't a lot of flowers blooming today. There's a couple of benches for zen and seclusion if it's cooler. Clean restrooms and lots of parking.

Changed my review to 5 stars. We really did enjoy the park a lot and decided to come back on day 2 to get our daily walk in. And I realized it's a nice place for female runners who may be along. It's very wide open so there's not a lot of places for someone to hide, but regardless, it's hard to sneak up on someone on gravel."

"The hours of operation on the Google map are incorrect. We showed up at 7:30 p.m. and there were still plenty of people enjoying the park without any problems enjoying a beautiful summer evening in June. The park itself is spacious and well maintained with beautiful trails, birdhouses and wildflowers next to a small river. Every town should be so lucky to have such an amazing Park!"
