What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Ann and Chuck Dever Regional Park for its affordable community pool, friendly lifeguards, and pet-friendly nature trails. The park's recovering landscape offers beautiful scenery, and the reopened recreation center provides valuable community activities like pickleball. Some visitors note a lack of shade in playground areas and a faint burn smell in areas recovering from fire.
"One of my favorite trails. Watching it recover from hurricanes and fires over the years shows how nature can rebound. Many wildflowers a crab and, an Eagle nest today."

"Cute playground with a lot of fun equipment for the kids, and it’s breezy. My only gripe is that I wish there was more shade in the parking lot and over the play areas. It looks like there once was but they’re down, my guess is from the storms. It would be nice if they were back up. The kids would be able to play more because some of the equipment gets hot in this sun"

"Very lovely pet friendly park for walking, running, biking, and with kayak launch. It has large paths made of gravel, sand, shell, and dirt with several bridges that cross oyster creek and overlooks for viewing. The length is about 1.8 miles. Note that it does appear to have had a recent fire, and thus a minor burn smell. In areas where there was a fire, the flora and fauna are recovering with some beautiful new plant growth."
