"It’s a beautiful place where you can stroll before or after shopping—or simply take a leisurely walk while admiring the lotus flowers blooming in the pond. I’ve visited this spot many times, often while coming to shop at Macy’s or JCPenney. But lately, it feels like I come here solely for this place.
There are several viewpoints scattered throughout where you can enjoy the scenery. Around this time of year, the intense sunlight and uncomfortable temperatures can be tough, but the shade under the trees offers a relaxing retreat. You can simply search for “Delta Pond Upper Parking Lot” on Google Maps to find your way there.
One downside is the lack of trash bins—except at the starting point—so I have to carry my dog’s waste bags the whole way. And being close to the highway means there’s some noise and dust, which is a bit unfortunate. Still, this spot is definitely worth recommending, and I think I’ll keep coming back."
