Before venturing out to the state park, get yourself a discover pass. It's relatively inexpensive and supports the state parks. Plus, you'll need a Discover pass to park your car in the park. You can also buy a 1-day pass at the park. Overall a great place to visit and take in a little bit of nature."

Unfortunately, there is often quite a bit of trash in the parking lot and on the beach. Plus, some dog owners do not pick up after their pooch. Classless."
