"This is a beautiful park with plenty of space for a picnic or for the kids to run and play. Be aware of the goose poo. It is everywhere. All of the gardens are beautiful and not overly large. The rose garden smells beautiful and the Japanese garden is cute. The (walking) bridge, across the way, takes you to the chutes and ladders that lead down to the boat dock or Vashon/ Tahlequah Ferry. The view at the top of the chutes & ladders is beautiful. The park is in the roundabout taking you to the zoo, marina, Owen Beach, Fort Nisqually & 5 mile drive."
