"Love this little park. Me and my pre-teen son go here often. Three main trail loops that are very kid-friendly. Lots of wildlife throughout and great views from the biggest loop. There are horses boarded on site, but please don't touch or feed them without owner's permission."
Denise McGrath
"This was beautiful hike nestled in the hills of the Santa Cruz Mountains 🌲 the lake is a great spot to have a picnic on a sunny day. They do have one picnic table nearby and two benches facing the pond.
I took the Woodrat trail that starts behind the park office and loops around to the side of the park office. It has great views and signage along the way. There was one point before hitting the sunset trail that I got confused because there was no sign that said park office. Just keep following the path and rest assure that it does loop you back.
The parking is free. There are no dogs allowed on the trail. I didn’t see any restrooms. I did see some wild turkeys and people riding horses 🐎"
