What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bowditch Point Park is a beloved spot for its beautiful beaches, excellent shelling, and stunning sunsets, offering a more relaxed atmosphere than busier nearby beaches. While some facilities are still recovering from hurricane damage and parking can be limited, visitors consistently praise its natural beauty and tranquility.
"First time at this beach, quick hour stop after work. $2.35 parking and a 2 minute walk. Dead quiet and pretty calm. Water was almost too warm."
Chad Walter
"Absolutely gorgeous end of the island! Bathrooms and buildings were still closed but there is a trailer bathroom available. Lots of shells to look for, easy swimming and fun to watch the boats in and out of the harbor. Fantastic for dolphin and sea life watching! Parking is limited however, hang around near the entrance of the parking lot and someone will leave- the pay was easy with QR scan and is only a dollar and hour! Parking is around back of the buildings, to the right of the traffic circle. The beach trolley also comes to drop off and pick up here!"
