What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find Kay Rodgers Park Fairgrounds to be a great local venue for a variety of events, from rodeos to fairs and conventions. The atmosphere is often pleasant and the staff helpful. However, parking can be a significant issue, and the prevalence of cash-only vendors can be inconvenient.
"The building is nice, not hug but not tiny. The staff did a good job battling the crazy changes in the temperature outside. The parking sucks; the layout is awful and not clearly marked and it has several small potholes. We didn't not go into the arena for our event. This was the 2nd time we've been to an anime convention in the building and both times were good. The bathrooms are well laid out and kept clean. I wish there were a few more smaller rooms to hold mini events during the main event but it worked out fine."
Rebecca Carroll
"Great show tonight. The best part was the cooler weather. The family had a blast and the atmosphere was very pleasant!"
Kirsten Harwood
"This is a blast... Had a very good time. I will go again. The only thing that bothered us was that it was almost over when we arrived going by their times listed it should have had at least an hour and half more and they still charged us full price. They also did NOT accept debit cards cash only for everything and that would have been nice to know considering most people don't carry cash. So we were not able to grab a drink or any snacks. They did have 1 ATM but the line was a mile long because nobody knew about cash only. Other than that we had a great time. The bulk rider is a woman and she won."
