"Surprisingly small downtown and the State Capitol of Kentucky which is beautiful, but it's really quaint and there's lots to see and do. There are a number of historic distillery's downtown and nearby. The Frankfort cemetery overlooks downtown and is the final resting place of Daniel Boone. I would highly recommend a short trek to Andy's Artisan Bread, near the Capitol. They prepare freshly baked croissants, pastries, breads and have the best coffee, definitely worth a visit."

"VISITOR but a KY resident.. This is simply a lovely town. There are so many attractions to the area and the prople are lovely, nice & so helpful. One of the neatest things I noticed was the AMAZING ART WORK painted on the outside of soo many buildings. I didn't get to see more than a glance at most and of course didn't/couldn't take photos while driving. Just driving around looking at the art could be a fun adventure. Highly recommend stopping down town and just walking around.."
