What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Ardenwood Historic Farm for its affordable family fun, charming vintage train rides, and engaging historical farm experience. However, some have noted issues with limited food and beverage options, particularly for those with dietary needs, and crowded conditions during holidays can lead to less pleasant interactions.
"Grandkids had fun here! They got to pick corn, ride the train, watch and interact with the blacksmith. I was very disappointed with the food service here! All of my the available drinks were heavily sugared beverages. I asked for a glass of water, and even offered to pay for it. I told them I'm diabetic and can't consume any of the beverages offered and was told no. They had water there because I personally watched them pouring water into large beverage dispensers and mixing their beverages. It was rather warm and we did a lot of walking and there was nothing there that I could drink. We will never go back here or recommend this to others!"

House tours and train rides are over for the winter season (end in late November and resume some time in the spring. Walking around and seeing the animals and farm equipment was great as well!"
