What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the St. George Greek Orthodox Church for its beautiful architecture, serene atmosphere, and exceptionally welcoming community. The annual Greek Festivals are a major draw, offering delicious food and lively cultural performances, though some find the food pricing high and popular items sell out quickly. Overall, it's considered a peaceful spiritual haven and a vibrant community hub.
"Greek Fest was very nice... next year I think we will go on a Saturday as they were sold-out of moussaka and baklava which were two of the reasons why we went.
The food we did eat was tasty but cold. I did appreciate the box trays.. The kiddie area was well planned for families who wanted to have their children entertained. I wish there had been more of a variety of shopping booths because we also wanted to get some souvenirs for Greek Fest but that was not to be. We did however enjoy the singing and enjoyed watching the dancers.
Overall the event was well planned, clean and I felt safe as there did not appear to be any drunks or security issues while we were there."

"I think the food is expensive! Everything is a la carte. The quarter of chicken is $7.00 and it's not even big then you have to buy the scoop of rice for $4. The lamb shank is $14 and 1 pita bread is $2. I dont mind helping the Greek church but I think you can make more money if the food is affordable . I dont think we will go back next year. The food does not have much taste either. Sorry this is it for us."
