"We just happened to be here when there were reenactors! They made the visit extra special!
The volunteer couple in the visitor center was also extra-helpful and made the visit better than it would have been otherwise.
We didn't have enough time to do all we usually would do (walk the battlefield, etc.) because it was too close to closing time and we talked to the people quite long and the Jr. Ranger book was VERY involved.
So happy we stopped!"

"Revolutionary War battlefield. We started at the visitor center. They were very friendly and told us what we could see during our visit. We started by watching a short film on the Southern campaign. We then took the 1 mile hike to the battlefield. You can also complete an auto tour of the park. The park is well maintained and the restrooms at the visitor center are very clean. This is a great stop for American history buffs."
