Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Butterfly Rainforest for its immersive and beautiful environment, highlighting the sheer number of butterflies and the serene atmosphere created by waterfalls and birdsong. Many find it a captivating experience that can easily fill several hours, offering a peaceful escape and a chance to connect with nature. However, the current closure for remodeling until 2026 is a significant point of disappointment for those planning future visits.

"I can’t think of a better place to spend a couple hours honestly. Now I understand most people will not spend that length of time, it will be a neat thing to walk through and that’s about all. But for me, the sounds of the waterfalls and the different birds make it an absolute oasis to experience. I probably spent easily an hour in there looking at the different plants, butterflies and birds. Then there’s the graceful fish to watch swim around. All in all well worth the cost of admission."

Guineviere Caerlaverock

"If you love butterflies, you should visit! Unfortunately, as of today, Monday, UF is closing the exhibit for remodel, and it isn't expected to reopen until 2026. I bet it will be worth the wait!"

Bobbi Frick

"The day we went was cold and they opened exhibition at 1 pm. While we were waiting we walked around and it was pretty cool. After we went to see butterflies. I have never seen some such a big butterflies and different colours"
