"Another nostalgic place for me. It’s change drastically since I was a child. But they still have all the souvenirs that you could ever desire in one place for beach decorations. The great thing is the deck between the stores. You can get a drink and just sit and watch the waves and chill. It’s a must for our family to hit Murdochs when we come to Galveston. One thing I was happy to find was the cute sand castles that they used to carry when I was a kid. They only had two this time and I got one as a souvenir. I will warn you about parking. We parked on the sea wall and I couldn’t get the app to work. We were fortunate though as Murdochs opens at 9:30 and the parking meter has to be paid at 10:00 am. So we had 30 min to mess around in there before having any problems. Just be aware of the parking issues."
