"Saturday, mid April. Overcast, cold and some drizzle. Took my dogs in an excellent walk from the bottom parking lot of Culps Hill up to Cemetery Hill. Probably a little over two miles. Good hills, excellent walk. Beautiful statues along the way. You could definitely combine this with Wainwright avenue, turn right past the middle school, then link up with confederate Ave for about a 3 mile or slightly more walk."

"Great views. Great drive to it through the statue park, very scenic. Our RV was 33feet and was fine on the tighter bends. 3 RV parking spots by the lookout tower which are good to park the bigger vehicles whilst you pop up to admire the views. A must do on your Gettysburg visit."

"I loved these towers. They give you a great view of the area and they have them well posted st the top as to where different land marks were at. They are not an easy climb up the 100 or so steps but the views are worth it. There is a few of them in the area and if you are physically capable I'd say they are all worth the climb. Do not miss your opportunity to see these great locations that were the heart of the battle."
