"Yes, it's true this beach is only accessible to the public who paddle there. So what?! There are plenty of rental places to get a boat, kayak, or SUP in town if you don't have your own. It's really not worth visiting on foot. We love putting in by the boat museum and paddling across the harbor with the lighthouse beach being the perfect stopping point to warm up, hydrate, and chat with other paddlers."
