"Everybody knows the painful history of the Holocaust. This is a must see, the grounds are beautiful with the Welwynn Preserve adjacent. They have a children's rememberence garden that will leave you thinking for quite sometime. Plus inside one of the old Gatsby Era mansions is the museum with some incredible artifacts. I grew up here so I know the area well. Its a bit off the beaten track but just que up the address on Google Maps and it will guarantee you a day to remember ."

"Volunteered with Glen Cove Beautification Committee to clean up the litter on the grounds. Met a couple of deer along the road way."

"Attended a ceremony today honoring two survivors. Drove past Gatsby mansions on the Gold Coast and snaked through the preserve passing parked cars of hikers.
The museum, staff, and grounds including the butterfly garden with 10/7/23 tribute are well worth the visit.
