What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Parfet Park is a beloved community gem in Golden, praised for its beautiful green space, mountain views, and welcoming vibe. Visitors enjoy its proximity to Clear Creek for tubing and its role as a hub for lively local events and festivals. While generally well-maintained, some note the need for supervision around busy roads and the creek.
"Parfet Park is such a gem in the heart of Golden! It’s a beautiful green space with plenty of room to relax, walk around, or enjoy a picnic with family and friends. The views of the surrounding mountains make it feel extra special, and the park always has such a welcoming, community vibe.
It’s also a great spot for kids to run around (but watch them because there are busy roads on two sides of it), and there are often fun local events and gatherings happening here, which really bring the park to life. Whether you’re just passing through Golden or live nearby, Parfet Park is the perfect place to unwind and soak in the charm of this little mountain town."

"Don’t know how it constitutes a park, but it’s got some trees, some benches and shade on a hot day- which is the most crucial. Right next to Clear Creek with multiple entry points, but it’s near the end of the creek, before you presumably float into the Coors factory where they process unsuspecting victims into their next draft beer or something to that effect."

"Fantastic park! Lots of room and shade. River is right next to the park. Bring a float and life jacket for kids. Walk up the river and float down. When you get back to the bridge near the park stand up once you're under the bridge. It's only knee deep under the bridge and you can walk yourself to the exit with steps. The water can be fast-moving and will be cold. Be prepared to move to the left side of the river once you see the bridge near the park."
