Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Pine River Nature Center for its beautiful, diverse trails and the unique treehouse experience. The opportunity to see wildlife and the accessibility of some paths are highlights. However, some find the trail signage confusing and note that dogs are not permitted.

"I got there after it closed so I don't know how it was inside the lodge. But I spoke with a nice lady on the phone and she was super informative and helpful.

The paths are clear and lovely though some inconsiderate people have left garbage around or dropped it over the edge of the treehouse.

It's important to note that if you're trying to take a particular path, the signs are a little confusing.

If you're looking for the treehouse, follow the paths that have a treehouse symbol on it. Very simple. If you're using the map, it's number 7. The label is a bit worn out.

Some paths are more difficult than others with steeper hills, so keep that in mind.

I'll definitely be going back to explore more of the paths."

Heidi Hernandez

"One of our favorite places to go for a walk! The nature center is nice and the trails are great. The trails are all short and very interconnected. One is completely handicapped accessible. As a whole, the trails will take you through and by every imaginable environment... woods, grassland, open field, pond, river, etc. There's also a super cool tree house. The main negative is the trail signage. Study it carefully at your 1st intersection. The trails are labeled backwards to most standard walking parks."

Juste Panetier

"No dogs allowed. Wouldn't know how the trail is, we didn't get to walk it today. It looks like alot of people love the trail. I just wanted to warn others that no dogs are allowed since nobody else has mentioned it in reviews."
