What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the unique and inspiring Parr Park Rock Art Trail, praising its vast collection of painted rocks and the peaceful, shaded walking paths. While the trail itself is a hit, many reviewers note that finding the entrance can be challenging due to unclear signage and unreliable GPS directions.
"We loved this place and looking at all the painted rocks. It's a nice trail that's mostly in the shade which is appreciated in the heat of July. Google maps is not helpful to get you there so here's a tip. Park by the playground at the church. Follow the sidewalk by the playground and take the first right. You'll see a snake sign to confirm you're headed in the right direction. It winds around with plenty of rocks to view."

"If you appreciate painted rocks, 🪨 you’ll love this place. (Free; No admission price)
Google maps directions were less than helpful; they dropped us in a parking lot (and there was absolutely no signage anywhere that directed us to the park - maybe the adjacent church could put some signs up?)
We asked a worker where the Parr Park Rocks were and he pointed us in the general direction…We wandered around in the mid-day heat and eventually guessed on a path and found the rocks.
👉We had to go along the path with a rattlesnake warning ⚠️ sign 😳 to find the rocks - thankfully did not meet any snakes."

"The vibration the amazing contribution to building this Rock trail is truly impressive
I will say this finding the head of the trail isn't as clear as you may think. You can find it from the trail next to the church. There are a couple of other ways to enter and the markings are not clear, but you'll find it"
